Spider-Man: Revenge of the Green Goblin

™ and ©2000 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Months ago, in an attempt to gain potentially unlimited power, industrialist Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin, gathered four other men to perform an ancient sorcerous ritual. Their actions, which also resulted in the accidental creation of the new Spider-Woman, left Norman completely insane.

At long last, the powerful industrialist is regaining a semblance of sanity, but he is still obsessed with his long-time enemy Spider-Man. Unfortunately for the hero, Norman is also one of the few people that know Spider-Man is really photojournalist Peter Parker. Grieving the death of his beloved wife, Mary Jane, Spidey is at an emotional low that’s affecting his super-hero career as well as his personal life.

Norman, of course, is delighted. He figures there’s no way Spider-Man can best the Green Goblin now, especially when Peter’s not even safe in his own home.
