The Story of Operation Desert Storm
(NEC, 2003)
™ and ©2003 Ronald Ledwell
This is the full saga of America's first war against Iraq and its dictator Saddam Hussein; Operation Desert Storm. Creator Ron Ledwell tells the story of day-to-day fighting in Desert Storm from the point of view of two hardened tank soldiers, Jiggs and Frank. Deep behind enemy lines, their tank team rolls through the Iraqi countryside, looking for resistance on their way to the Iraqi capital. Ledwell also covers the Iraqi reaction to the U.S. invasion, and what happened when the politicians stepped in and stopped the relentless march to Baghdad. Desert Storm is non-stop battle action in the sun-baked desert. The art and scripting are a bit rough around the edges, but Desert Storm is well researched and historically accurate.
