As a diabolical doppelganger of the Joker menaces Mega-City One by threatening to free the imprisoned Dark Judges—Fire, Fear, Mortis, and their leader, Death—Batman and Judge Dredd reluctantly join forces to stop their most fearsome foes from forming an unholy alliance.
