This black-and-white anthology series offers stories featuring characters from Adventurers. The stories are short, but involving, and present various takes on the worlds of wizards, knights, and sword-swinging mercenaries. In one tale, a pair of prisoners must escape from their captors before they become part of a blood sacrifice. In another, a young spellcaster hopes a sorceress will take him as her pupil; she tests him an unexpected question, which the young man can’t answer honestly. Different creative teams on each story lend variety in dialogue, story structure, and art styles.
