Strike!

    (Eclipse, 1987-1988)
™ and ©1988 Charles Dixon and Tom Lyle

In 1934, a meteor crashed in Siberia. Those too close to the crash site died horrible deaths, but in towns further away entire populations gained amazing powers. The Soviets got hold of the meteor, but not long after, it was stolen by Hitler’s men and brought to a concentration camp for study. The German scientists made a special harness which was powered by the meteorite but protected its wearer from the radiation. The Allies, hearing of this super-weapon, sent their own team to retrieve it. The only survivor of that mission was Russell Carlyle, who used the power of the harness to escape the Germans. Later, as “Sgt. Strike” he would become a secret weapon for the Allies before Cold War politics made Carlyle decide to disappear and hide the harness in an attic compartment.

Thirty years later it was found by a young man named Dennis. Dennis had been going to school, trying to make a future for himself. Suddenly, the possibilities were endless!
