The popular Hercules and Xena television shows spawned a wealth of spinoffs and merchandising in the late 90s. In this one-shot, Xena and Hercules are brought in to aid a village whose newlywed husbands are being murdered by their wives on their wedding night. Hercules and Xena stage a pretend marriage to determine the cause. That night, Xena is taken over by a possessing spirit, and attacks Hercules. The Alex Ross cover might well be an item overlooked by his fans.
