Issue #5 continues series after 5 year hiatus. Copies of the original #5 were destroyed by accident at the printers, making them very rare. The reprint #5/A is the commonly sold version.

She-Cat is a spinoff from the popular Femforce series from AC Comics. In this mini-series, She-Cat has broken off from her old team because she has been experiencing bizarre emotional and physical changes over the last six months. She is also tired of the strong-armed leadership of General Gordon, the leader of Femforce.

The problem lies in the fact that the government doesn’t want to let her go. They dispatch a crazed assassin named Barney to bring her back or kill her. She-Cat must rely on the help of a fellow super-hero, Captain Freedom, to help her elude capture and find the secret behind her strange transformation.
