The television series “Mutant X” has nothing to do with the former Marvel Comics series of the same name, but it is about a team of mutant super-heroes. In this case, the mutants were genetically engineered by a secret government organization that now wants to hunt them down. Led by the mysterious Adam, the members of Mutant X seek out their fellow mutants, help them master their powers and abilities, and protect them from their makers. This one-shot explores the background of the events in the television series; it establishes the mission of the soon-to-be formed Mutant X team.
