This miniature ashcan edition was given away in 1993 to promote Nemesis Comics’ new titles. Featured is a preview of Ultraman #-1 (“before the beginning”), bringing the popular Japanese toy/hero to American comic readers. Also included is a sneak peek at Frank, where Frankenstein’s monster is given a modern feel and placed in inner-city America.

Although Nemesis’ titles were promising, 1993 was the height of a comics glut for the industry. Neither of these titles would survive for more than a few issues when the inevitable shake-out came several months later.
