Combining the quick, MTV-styled cuts and oversized panels of early Image Comics with an anime flavor, Kade is your basic fantasy comic aimed at teenagers discovering Dungeons & Dragons for the first time. The title character is a sword-swinging albino brought up by a monk after he was abandoned in the snow as a child. Kade was raised to fight, but his extraordinary talent earns him the ire of the evil Apollyon. When the Dark Lord destroys Kade’s village and monastery, hoping he would perish in the ashes—but Kade survives, and now it’s payback time.
