Millennium Edition: The New Teen Titans

    (DC, 2000)
™ and ©2000 DC Comics

DC continues its reprint series of some of the most pivotal comics to ever be published.

November 1980 saw the re-birth of an old concept. Originally, the Teen Titans were a spinoff of the Justice League of America-a sort of side-kicks club that tried to be relevant to the times dating back to the mid-1960’s. The team took a definite dive in sales in the 1970’s until the coming of Len Wein and Marv Wolfman. They were able to take what they had learned at Marvel and apply it to a new team made up of old members currently not showing elsewhere and several new characters along with developing characterizations and long-running subplots that tended to tie things together. George Perez was able to bring large groups of individuals to life with his art and storytelling skills.
