Gun Fury

 GUNO   (Aircel, 1989)

ô and ©1989 Barry Blair

With marked similarities to The Tick, Gun Fury was an equally pompous and muscle-bound clod fighting a variety of media and reality-inspired villains, but as written by Barry Blair, just doesnít have that offbeat wackiness that elevated the Tick. With a four-panel page, crowded in comparison to most, Gun Fury is hardly a long read, but it should raise a smile or two each issue, and it does have the early professional art of Dave Cooper, working from Blairís layouts.
