Flintstones 3-D

 FL3D   (Blackthorne, 1987)

and 1987 Blackthorne Publishing Inc.

Long after the 3-D fad of the early 1950s, Blackthorne publishing made its name in the 1980s with a number of 3-D comics based on popular characters. One of their more successful series was The Flintstones. What made this series quite enjoyable is the fact that many of the stories were straight adaptations from the popular television series episodes from 1960-1966, including the episodes that introduced baby Pebbles to the world. This material did not appear in comic books before or since, thus making them highly collectible for Flintstones fans.
