Girl Crazy

    (Dark Horse, 1996-1997)
™ and ©1996 Gilbert Hernandez

Una is the greatest hero ever, even though she’s only sixteen. She’s fast, strong, and flies; she sings and paints; and she’s got a really huge chest. Besides her super-duper physical abilities, she has a lot of cool mental powers, too. She’s also immature, arrogant, and short-tempered. But don’t try to tell her that!

But why does Una travel through time, living three separate lives? Who were Kitten, Gaby, and Maribel, and what was their connection to Una? What does it all have to do with the I.R.S., the future’s ultimate authority?

Naturally Una hates to be told what to do. She’s really ticked off the government, and they’ll do anything to stop her. To protect her friends, Una destroys the IRS headquarters, but kills herself in the process. But after the smoke clears, three women have survived. And only they know if Una will ever return…
