Time Breakers

 TIMY   (Helix, 1997)

™ and ©1997 Rachel Pollack and Chris Weston

Angela Attenborough was just a suburban housewife in 1958, content to let her physician husband make all her decisions, and never questioning either her role in life, or how her husband and his colleagues found so many lucrative cases to treat. That all changed when three mysterious strangers appeared before her and gave her a device which allowed her to use thought to alter reality. She used the device to open her husband’s safe and found he was intentionally infecting his patients in order to profitably treat them later. Of course, a few resisted treatment and died. In shock, Angela left her husband.

But that was only the beginning of her journey, as she began to realize that one of the strangers that appeared before her was a later version of herself. She eventually became a “Time Breaker,” a group which maintains the world (after a fashion) by intentionally causing time paradoxes.
