WildC.A.T.s/Cyberforce: Killer Instinct

At a time in comics when it was often hard to tell the good guys from the bad, and powerhouse characters didn’t have any idealistic qualms about using deadly force, Jim Lee’s WildC.A.T.s and Marc Silvestri’s Cyberforce led the pack, taking the creators to the heights of comic stardom. Collecting the 1993-1994 crossover issues of these titles, “Killer Instinct” focuses on the mysterious telepath Misery, who plays a deadly mind–game with the similarly–powered Ripclaw and Warblade.

What is the past connection between Misery and these two warriors? Is she the real threat or are darker forces at work? Will the members of either team figure it out before they kill each other? And will the fans ever realize that these teams and characters are just really violent copies of Wolverine, Cable, and other members of the X-Men and X-Force?
