Series continues from (and merges) Weird Science (E.C.) #22 and Weird Fantasy (E.C.) #22

In 1954, EC’s William Gaines decided to combine two of his ailing space-fantasy titles, Weird Fantasy (EC) and Weird Science (EC), into a single series. As Weird Science-Fantasy, the new title had a brief but distinguished run of seven issues, before it was retitled again to Incredible Science-Fiction with issue #30. Before then, it served as the home to Harlan Ellison’s first professional work (the story “Upheaval” in issue #24), as well as hosting a couple of fine Ray Bradbury short story adaptations. Issue #29, its last issue as Weird Science-Fantasy, featured a controversial cover by none other than Frank Frazetta.
