The Comic Buyer’s Guide 2003 Comic Book Checklist and Price Guide describes Budd Root’s buxom creation as a mix of “…cheesecake, the Cretaceous Era, and good writing…” and claims the beautiful but deadly Meriem is “…more than just a Good Girl in a dinosaur-skin bikini”. Writer/artist Devon Massey does his best to prove them correct in this 2-issue black-&-white story that takes Root’s heroine over a turbulent waterfall and straight into the slavering jaws of a 12-foot tall super-fast, super-smart, super-Raptor!
