Justice Leagues: JLA

    (DC, 2001)
™ and © DC Comics

An alien race is planning an invasion of the planet Earth. And the Justice League of America can’t stop them— because they no longer exist. After erasing the memory of the JLA’s existence from Earth’s entire population, the Advance Man begins preparing the way for his employer’s assault on the human race. As each member of the JLA attempts to recreate the team from their faintest recollections, the hope of humanity may lie in the hands of the super villain telepath, Hector Hammond. This one-shot comic is the sixth and final part of the “Justice Leagues” crossover event in which members of the team remake the JLA in their own images such as Wonder Woman’s Justice League of Amazons and the Martian Manhunter and Superman’s Justice League of Aliens. But the strength of the JLA they eventually discover in this battle, just as it always has, comes from the team’s diversity.
