Batman: The 10-Cent Adventure

Here be wisdom:

Nowadays where the average-sized full color comic book costs you more than two of your hard-earned bucks, when a new average-sized full color comic book featuring the Dark Knight hits the shelves sporting a 10-cent price tag…you don’t ask questions! You grab the issue, slam your dime down on the counter and RUN!

Labeling January as the beginning of “the dead quarter” for stores that sell new comics, the Comics Buyers Guide reports trend-breaking dollar preorders for January 2002 thanks mostly to this title—a one-shot spearheading a storyline that will involve most of the Batman titles.

In a nutshell: a murder takes place at Wayne Manor and the primary suspect is… Bruce Wayne! Despite a new bat-partner, this issue features a typical bat-story with typical bat-fights and average bat-art. But hey, that normally would have cost you more than two of your hard-earned bucks, right?
