All the Rules Have Changed

All the Rules Have Changed is the second book collecting the work of editorial cartoonist Ted Rall. Rallís acerbic take on life has a way of cutting through any issue, from health care reform to the apparent uselessness of a college philosophy degree.

Featuring a cubist art style and a savage wit, Rallís work has found a wide audience on the editorial pages, including the Baltimore Sun, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Examiner, and more. Still, some of the work included in this book proved too controversial and was edited before it saw syndication. Among the latter is a devilish cartoon wondering if the Polly Klaas kidnap/murder would have happened if her parents hadnít divorced years earlier. Another takes aim at the tactics of U.S. soldiers in the Gulf War, stealing imagery from a punk album cover in the process. No matter what side of the political fence you stand on, Rall will engage, amuse, and challenge you.
