Indiana’s not the first place you’d imagine a climactic battle between the gods of Olympus and their low–slung brethren in Hades, but Olympus Heights, IA, is the site of their ultimate conflict all the same. Witness to this apocalypse is likable schlub Oliver Dobbs, who would surely be played by Jimmy Stewart if the time barrier were no obstacle in casting the Olympus Heights movie. Oliver helps run the town’s museum, where ancient and Neo–Classicist artifacts mingle thanks mostly to a mysterious donor. That donor is in fact Oliver’s eccentric neighbor, Mr. Smith, who’s either Zeus incognito or Sean Connery. Either way, Smith’s nightly patrols of the neighborhood have more purpose than Oliver realizes: the old man battles mythical monsters. Unfortunately for Dobbs, his collection of petrified predators have begun to wake up, signaling the coming battle.
