Blood Alone

 BCT7   (Infinity, 2006-2012)

and 2005 Masayuki Takano & 2006 Infinity Studios

Typically vampires are portrayed as monstrous horrors, charming counts, or tragically romantic. Rarely are they presented as normal people with normal reactions. Rather than trade on more extreme characters and situations, the vampire tale Blood Alone plays out as more of a young romance story with a few supernatural elements tossed in. The book follows the travails of Misaki, a young female vampire, and her psychic boyfriend Kuroe. While the pair must deal occasionally with magical threats in a world where vampires and body snatchers can exist, many of their dramas are on a smaller, more personal scale.
