Gabriel is not having a good day. On the way to the airport to catch a flight to visit his dying father, a small meteorite crashes into his engine block, ruining his car. One ride from a friend later, he makes it to the airport only to be hassled by security about the meteorite he is carrying in his pocket. Then, on the plane, he is stuck in front of a screaming toddler—and if that wasn’t bad enough, a larger meteor storm hits the flight, ripping a hole in the fuselage and sucking Gabriel out of the plane. He survives the fall and is saved from drowning by an alien who escaped from inside one of the meteors. The alien warns him that the Earth is dying, right before the military comes and kidnaps both of them.
And that was just the beginning.
