Sen Owari, is a student from Japan, was studying at Columbia University. During his stay in the US, he has an affair with his professor, later to be discovered by her husband. When he was confronted, they get in a fight and Sen shoots and kills him. He is now convicted of a murder and was sentenced to serve 80 years in prison at “Under Grand Hotel” (UGH) UGH is the inmate’s name for a prison in New York which is built 30 meters under ground. Sen is the one and only asian boy in this institution, he’s feeling out casted, vulnerable and alone. He then approaches a prison gang leader, who goes by the name of “Swordfish,” to get protection. But Swordfish seize this opportunity and claims Sen as his “personal property.” They got together as an arrangement at first, but as Swordfish learns more about Sen, their attitude towards each other lightens up and their relationship start to change...
