Sloth Park

 SLOP   (Blatant, 1998)

™ and ©1998 Blatant Comics

What’s more scatological, irreverent, and disgusting than the Comedy Channel’s “South Park?” Perhaps this parody from Blatant Comics that features… um… well… murderous sentient feces. The artwork is a dead-on copy of the animated series’ simplistic renderings, and the story is a shade or two more foul. It must be difficult to parody something that is already a terribly skewed and irreverent representation of urban life. Sloth Park also features the adventures of Snap, the Punk Turtle, whose dream is to meet Albert Einstein. Blatant Comics also offers parodies of other TV and comic book properties: The X-Files (The EboniX Files), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Busty the Vampire Murderer), and Gen13 (Gen113).
