™ and ©2000 Avalon Comics Group

ACG presents the adventures of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective in this collection of classic, black and white newspaper strip reprints from the 1950’s. Join Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they tackle some of their toughest cases and battle some of their cleverest foes. Highlights include a tale of wits as Holmes battles his archenemy Professor Moriarty who intends to release a plague on the unsuspecting inhabitants of the city Edinburgh. These stories are written by Edith Meiser and drawn by Frank Giacoia who worked on The Avengers and Marvel Saga and also inked the first appearance of The Punisher in Amazing Spider-Man #129. It should also be noted that from 1988-1990, Eternity released a collection of these same strips.
