MICRA: Mind Controlled Remote Automaton

    (Fictioneer, 1986-1988)
and 1986 Ted Boonthanakit

(From the Slings & Arrows Comic Guide)

The acronymically titled Mind Controlled Remote Automaton is experimental technology used by a woman paralysed in a terrorist attack. Its initially designed merely as a form of mobility for her, but shes gradually applied as a weapon, and manipulated by army officers keen to learn the technology. Manga-influenced long before it was common in the USA, M.I.C.R.A. was a decent blend of mystery, action and soap opera, that started well and improved. The premature cancellation was a shame. ~FP
