Take all the mythological aspects of The Mighty Thor and infuse it with a healthy dose of humor and goofiness, and it might resemble this book. Blade of Heaven follows a human thief named Soma who is being held prisoner in heavenís penitentiary. After convincing the king of heaven that he didnít steal the kingís sword, Soma is assigned the task of retrieving the sword, alongside the Princess of Heaven and General White. Wall-to-wall silliness permeates the book, even during the many fight scenes against much more serious enemies.
