By the end of the twenty-first century, mankind had begun to settle Mars and Venus. To survive in these alien environments, mankind created Neo-Sapiens, genetically engineered to thrive under harsh conditions. Perhaps it should have surprised no one when the Neo-Sapiens staged a rebellion against the human rulers of Mars and Venus. Only the advanced “exo” technology employed by the humans and their superior numbers allowed them to put down the rebellion.

These exo-skeletons of robotic armor and weaponry became the basis for the formation of “exo-squads”—daring troubleshooters who kept the peace. But now, fifty years after the original Neo-Sapien uprisings, the exo-squads are being called upon to stop a new threat by the still-resentful Neo-Sapiens.
