Perhaps no single person has had more of an influence on the mythology of Transformers than writer Simon Furman. He crafted Transformers stories for the first Marvel series in the 80s and played a significant role in shaping the continuity of both Dreamwave’s and IDW’s revivals in the 21st century.

With this collection of stories, American fans get a chance to read some of Furman’s Marvel UK stories. As he would show during his run with Marvel’s US series, Furman is unafraid of introducing violent action and unconventional ideas into a comic based on a toy. The stories in this book include the defection of a Decepticon and a Christmas tale with Optimus Prime.
