Marvel Tales gave newer readers a way to catch up on the early adventures of Marvel’s favorite heroes. Although it began with reprints of various characters’ first issues, Marvel Tales soon focused its reprint efforts on The Amazing Spider-Man.

For over thirty years, Marvel Tales has served as a retrospective on the web-slinger’s career, from his premiere in Amazing Fantasy #15 to his relatively recent struggles with notables like Ghost Rider and the Punisher.
